The Man Who Killed Time Travel – Short Story

“If you were to invent time travel, and I mean actual time travel, what would you do with it? Would you go back to see the dinosaurs? Visit a dead celebrity? Probably kill Hitler? Surely those are the most important reasons to invent something so monumental. An invention of such scale deserves a motivation of such scale. Well, you’d be half-right. Time travel wasn’t invented in a highly secure top-secret underground lab with a dozen more military jargon terms tacked on, it was invented in Tulsa, Oklahoma by an avid scientist in his basement.”

Synesthesia – Play Script

“A single violin plays. It is a sorrowful and lonely melody. Gently and perfectly sliding from note to note as Jun slowly closes in on himself. As he slowly turns toward the keyboard. Jun taps one key, a high key. It fits slightly with the violin. As it plays the one time, a ripple of bright yellow pulses on the background. Jun plays another key, this time lower and another ripple this time green, pulses on another part of the back wall. In 2/4 time, a gentle piano melody begins to intertwine with the soft violin and one after another the ripples accompany the tune.”

“The first thing we see is a man running as fast as he can manage down a firebreak road as a heavy storm thrashes overhead. He is tall, long haired with a beard. He grips his stomach as blood seeps through his fingers. The pain in his stomach becomes too much and he stumbles, his run falling to a hobble.

He keeps throwing his eyes back behind him. As he continues down the road, we hear a second set of footsteps. A shadowed figure approaches, walking toward the first man.

The first man hobbles up toward a house in the woods.”

The Golden Age – Thesis/Short Story

The Golden Age is a series of interconnected short stories that catalogue the journey of intrepid
explorer James Hawkins and a group of the cheapest sailors money can just about afford as they
journey out into the sea to discover the Secret of the World, whether the world is ready to hear it
or not.

Taking place in an undefined time period of earth, a planet-scale event has led to a large gap in
recorded history. The societies of earth have now finally begun to reform into a new, more
fantasy-focused society, where myth and legend once again ignite great ventures of discovery.
